WORKING IN SALZBURG REGION
SEASON 24/25
Following institutional agreements established with EURES, the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce (WKS), the Austrian National Employment Agency (AMS), the selection of 60 professionals in the area is formalized of dining room, to be included in the Austrian labor market of the Salzburg Region for the winter season 2024/2025.
The mandatory requirements for participation in the project selection are:
1. Hospitality diploma or proven experience in the kitchen and / or dining room;
2. Compulsory participation in the free A1 / A2 German course or holding a German language certificate;
3. Certified B1/B2-level knowledge of English are required for all curricula.
PROJECT
It provides for staff researched, targeted training to acquire higher professional skills, through both the German language courses prepared in Italy, both for work and pre-insertion directly from the companies in the hospitality industry host in Austria (particularly the Region of Salzburg).
The initiative is designed with care and dedication, he answers two priority needs of today’s world: to offer an opportunity of stable and skilled jobs for young Italians and bring demand and supply of labor, taking into account that there are profiles Professional profiles in particular in the field catering, which both the Italian and European companies, they can not easily find.







SERVICES
Job placement and support of people looking for work, unemployed and graduates of hotel management schools in Italy and in particular in southern Italy.
Recruitment through an excellent and established strategy of recruiting depending on the needs of Austrian companies, along with the AMS (National Agency for the labor market), WKS (Chamber of Commerce Austria) and offices of local tourism.

The characteristics of the profiles sought, all fall in the hospitality industry, such as cook and assistant cook, waiter, bar service and receptionist;
The mandatory requirements to be met, are besides the proven experience in the hospitality industry (for those without a diploma) and knowledge of English (B1 / B2) addition to German (A1 / A2), where the latter will prepared for the language courses on site, during the recruitment process.
The interviews of the candidates, will be prepared before the start of the German language courses and suitable sign a pre-contract, before the setting step directly from the host Austrian companies.
The cooperation with the administrations of the Austrian labor market agencies, will ensure the high efficiency of these projects.
The placement process is structured and begins with detailed information on living and working conditions in Austria. Interested persons are invited to the informative seminars on employment opportunities, at the Institutes. If people decide to take on a job application in Austria, the application of the documents received (CV) they are forwarded to companies in Austria. After the agreement and collaboration with the authorities of the labor market, application documents will be made available also of AMS consultants for further verification. However, this always happens to coincide with the AMS regional managers and the EURES advisers.
